Fred Aldrich holds a B.S. in Education and a B.A. in Speech from the University of Kansas along with an M. Ed from Louisiana State University.

    He has taught in the East Baton Rouge Parish school system since 1977, and been selected three times as the BRMHS Teacher of the Year.  In 2000 he was the Parish and District Teacher of the Year and a finalist for the state honor.

    He has Highly Qualified status in both Speech and Social Studies. In addition to teaching media and speech classes, he coaches the tennis team and quiz bowl team.
