    The counselors help students with academic problems, personal problems, selection of courses of study, selection of colleges and testing and interpreting test results.  The Guidance Department also coordinates contact between parents and faculty.  In order to contact a member of the Guidance Deparment or a faculty member,  call 344-1090.  A contact request will be completed for either personal contact or telephone contact.

    Guidance Services Include:

    1. Individual conferences
    2. Guidance classes
    3. College, Career, and Financial Aid Information
    4. Guidance Library with interent access
    5. Testing and Evaluation
      1. PLAN Test-Sophomores
      2. PSAT-Sophomores and Juniors
      3. ACT and SAT Testing Center
      4. State Assessment- GEE & i-LEAP
      5. Advanced Placement testing
    6. Scheduling college admissions representatives to meet with juniors and seniors
    7. Referrals for special services
    8. Arrangement of parent-teacher conferences
    9. Arrangement for student assignments during prolonged absences (3 days or longer)
    10. Work Permits provided on request
