In order to be a member of BRMHS JCL, one must be either taking Latin or Greek or have already taken two years of Latin. Each club member is also a member of the Louisiana Junior Classical League, the state organization, and the National Junior Classical League, the national organization.

Each year the BRMHS Junior Classical League participates in the state convention held in Baton Rouge. Here, hundreds of students gather to compete in academic exams, graphic and creative arts, and athletic events. Afterwards, they are extremely dejected because convention is so much fun! During the summer, some students also attend the national convention.

We have a plethora of events every month, from toga bowling and eating-out to ice-skating, from movie days to volunteering, and much, much more!
