Interact members provide services to the community.
One example: Last year the club, underneath the leadership of Angela Chun, organized a barefoot walk at BREC's Baton Rouge City Park called TAKE THE WALK. The students raised $1,395.90 for children around the world without shoes. (This event, promoted by the band Hanson, raises awareness of the problem, and it helps buy TOMS shoes for children in Africa and other countries in need.)

*The club attends a convention in the spring with numerous cometitve events. The convention also raises money for people in our state and around the world in need.
