As we embark upon a new school year, we look back on 2008-2009 as being a great success and look forward to 2009-2010 with challenge and anticipation.

We're proud of our reputation as one of the finest schools in our city, in the South, and in the nation. We're concerned with our students as people who need more from their high school years than knowledge and grades.

We're committed to addressing the concerns of a varied student body in a constantly changing society. We stay abreast of issues and problems and meet them head-on. Input from parents is an important part of our educational plan, and we welcome your comments and questions.

We're constantly challenged to seek new ways to engage our students, unlock their creativity, and build stimulating teacher learning environments. We offer our students innovative and motivating means of maximizing success in life.

If you're seeking a premier public education, then Baton Rouge Magnet High School is definitely for you! We warmly invite you to become a member of the BRMHS family and accept the challenge and experience of being a part of our proud history and tradition of excellence.
