About Our School
Our ProgramBaton Rouge Magnet High provides an award-winning college prepatory and visual and performing arts curriculum. The faculty and staff are committed to providing a learning climate to help students develop the skills and attitudes of successful citizens in a global environment.

The curriculum offers
» 20 Advanced Placement courses
» 12 Honors courses
» 5 foreign languages (French L-V, Spanish I-V, Latin, Japanese, Arabic)

The school also maintains a strong curriculum in visual and performing arts, with special classes for those students identified as "talented." Male and female athletes compete in soccer, golf, gymnastics, cross country, track and field, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, swimming and bowling. The Bulldogs have a proud tradition of LHSAA playoff appearances and state championships in various sports.
